But, honestly it's just not to my liking even chilled! One of my students in Japan brought me some homemade umeshu that was pretty nasty and very cloudy - I think it may have spoiled me on it forever. I lived in Japan for a year and, try as I might, I just never found a sake that I liked that I could afford on a regular basis. I think that was probably the key - I had some good stuff, but it was way out of my price range. I'm embarrassed to say that I drank more than my fair share of canned chuhai. You are supposed to chill it. Besides, that isn't a good brand, there are better out there. It's good if you mix it with ice and soda water.
